Five Femen members were arrested in Madrid on Sunday after disrupting an anti-abortion march. The topless activists blocked the demonstration and shouted slogans like, "My standards, my body", and, "Abortion is sacred". The Christian groups taking part in the march didn't like that very much and responded by trying to spray the protesters with red paint, before police stepped in to break up the scuffle.
The girls ended up spending the night at Madrid's Moratalaz police station, accused of public disorder, damage, exhibitionism and a crime against fundamental rights.
We had spent the previous night hanging out with Femen and taking photos of their preparations for the counter-protest, which you can look at in the gallery above.
